Falcon Trip · Privacy Policy · updated 28 Sep 2026

Your trips stay on your phone.

Falcon Trip is an app for recording and remembering road trips, made by Nikhilendra Pratap Singh Deo. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: nothing leaves your device unless you choose to share it.

What the app stores

Trips, routes, fuel and expense logs, notes and any photos you attach are saved only on your iPhone, inside the app. There are no accounts, no cloud sync run by us, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We never receive or see your data.

Location

With your permission, Falcon Trip uses your location to record the route of a trip you have started and to pin stops where they happen. If you allow "Always", it keeps recording while the phone is locked or another app is open, only while a trip is in progress. Location points are stored on your device and are never sent to us. You can change or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings.

Apple services

Maps are shown with Apple Maps, and place names are looked up with Apple's geocoding service. Those requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Sharing and export

Trip cards, text recaps, GPX files and emergency location messages are created on your device and only sent where you choose, using the iOS share sheet.

Deleting your data

Delete a trip in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it has stored.

Children

Falcon Trip is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
